She focuses on improving performance, typically delivering top-line growth, and dramatically enhancing customer experience and engagement. Zara achieves this with her teams through the responsible use of machine learning, applying cutting-edge techniques to challenging problems and embedding the outputs into decision making.
Her work spans several industries including financial institutions, the public sector, and elite sports teams. In each case, Zara is passionate about delivering not just immediate performance improvements, but also building the organization’s in-house capabilities in machine learning to sustain results over time.
Zara has been immersed in the world of machine learning since 2018 when she joined QuantumBlack with the responsibility to scale it and open offices around the world. Her approach to growing and running QuantumBlack, which is at the forefront of machine learning, has inspired many other organizations.
Prior to this, Zara served companies and governments on strategic and financial challenges. She also worked in the UK public sector, and was recognized as one of Management Today’s “35 Women Under 35” for her achievements.
